خلاصه داستان : در دریای شمال، پروژه‌ای عظیم برای ذخیره‌سازی دی‌اکسید کربن در اعماق بستر دریا آغاز می‌شود؛ طرحی که قرار است به مقابله با تغییرات اقلیمی کمک کند. اما با وقوع حوادث عجیب، اختلال در تجهیزات و ناپدید شدن‌های مرموز، یک خلبان و گروهی از متخصصان متوجه می‌شوند نیرویی ناشناخته در اعماق دریا بیدار شده است.

Strange things are happening around the Hallig Nordersand: ships are reported missing, numerous seabirds lie dead on the beach. While some locals remember the legend of the witches' hole in the North Sea, others suspect an impending natural disaster or the effects of an industrial project.
