خلاصه داستان : خانواده کنت تاگارت توسط افرادی که باعث رم گله شده‌اند، به قتل می‌رسند. در دوئلی منصفانه، او پسر مقصر اصلی را به قتل می‌رساند و برای سرش جایزه‌ای تعیین می‌شود.

Taggart's family is slaughtered by a rival rancher. Taggart mortally wounds the rancher and kills his son. Before he dies the rancher hires three bounty hunters to avenge him with the promise of $5000 as a reward. Taggart must flee into Apache territory to escape the wrath of the trio of hired killers.

Chicago February 14th 1929. Al Capone finally establishes himself as the city's boss of organised crime. In a north-side garage his hoods, dressed as policemen, surprise and mow down with machine-guns the key members of Bugs Moran's rival gang. The film traces the history of the incident, and the lives affected and in some cases ended by it.
